Three Kinds of Users

A visitor may have one list at a time; a list created by a visitor will be available up till 24 hours after the visitor first came to StoreAssociate. A member (someone who has created an account) may have one list at a time but the list will be saved and be available whenever the member logs into StoreAssociate. Subscribers have many benefits: multiple saved lists, access to item locations, access to StoreAssociate's award system.

Subscribers' Features

Access to item locations
View item locations provided by other subscribers. Also you may enter item locations which other subscribers may view on their lists.

Awarding others
Each subscription renewal provides you with 500 points that you may use to award other subscribers for items that they have provided locations. Basically, you are thanking them for helping you locate the item when you shop. The award icon will show next to an item that has a location. A click on an item's award icon is worth 10 points.

Redeeming points
When you provide locations for items then other subscribers may award you points, and you may redeem these for money through Paypal. You may redeem points awarded to you when you have reached a minimum of 1000 points ($10.00). Here's a scenario: You enter locations for 50 items at Target #123, then you tell two friends about StoreAssociate and they subscribe too. If they make a list for Target #123 then they may award you for helping them locate those 50 items. In this scenario you will have recouped your subscription cost. How many others might award you too!

Types of items

There are two types of items: template items provided by StoreAssociate, and additional items created by you or others. Additional items are color-coded with a blue background. Template items are in everyone's list regardless of having locations. Additional items that you create are local to your list unless you provide the location, then the item is on everyones' list for the same store.

Adding, Editing, and Deleting items.

Adding
Anyone may add items to a store. Note: only subscribers may enter and view item locations.

Editing
Anyone may edit items they have added. Concerning Template items, only the location may be edited. Note: only subscribers may enter and view locations.

Deleting
Anyone may delete an item they created. Template items cannot be deleted.

Subscription Details

Subscriptions are annual at the amount of $10. If you allow your subscription to expire, any item for which you provided a location may be claimed by others; in addition, unredeemed points will expire. In the event of a Subscription refund, a refund will be reduced by the amount of points awarded to others during the subscription period.
